How it works

    Add it to Chrome

    Install it from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your toolbar. It updates itself.

  2. 2

    Sign in with an API key

    Create one in Settings → API keys, then paste it into the extension. It stays in your browser.

  3. 3

    Open a profile

    Anything already in your records shows up for free. New lookups always ask first and show the price.

Install from a zip

For the test version, before the Chrome Web Store listing is live. A zip install doesn't update itself — download it again for a new version, and switch to the Store version once it's out.

    Download the zip and unzip it. Keep the folder somewhere it will stay — Chrome loads the extension from it.

    Open chrome://extensions in Chrome and switch on Developer mode, top right.

    Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder. Pin openRecruiter to your toolbar.

Open a profile and a small card shows work email, personal email and phone from your records. Copy any of them in one click.

Engineers, read from GitHub

Seniority, activity and influence scores for any GitHub profile, with the person linked to the same record as everywhere else.

Lists that follow you

Save anyone to a list without leaving the page, then export it to CSV. They are the same lists you work from in the app.

A card or a sidebar

Keep a compact card in the corner, or dock a full sidebar with Profile, Lists and Settings that stays open as you browse.

What it can see

Every permission the extension asks Chrome for, and why. It never runs on any other site and never reads the pages it runs on beyond their address.

LinkedIn and GitHub profile pages
Reads the page address to know whose profile is open. Never the page content, never any other site.

Where lookups, lists and your account live. The extension talks to nothing else.
Storage
Keeps your API key and account email in this browser, so you stay signed in.
Tabs
Lets the toolbar popup read the address of the tab you are on, so it can show that profile.
Downloads
Saves the CSV when you export a list — and only then.
